Lovely vintage pair of Victorian brass push up candlesticks c1860-80. These 9-7/8" tall candlesticks measure 3-1/2" across the base and retain their original push ups. This pair is in good condition, with no dents or wear. The pushups have been recorked; one moves firmly and the other is a bit loose and doesn't extend fully. This stick also has a ring of applied clear epoxy holding the two original sections together, but this can be removed and the pushup restored to proper working order. The lines in the picture are shallow fissures in the surface of the brass and are not cracks. A nice antique matched pair for your mantle or table. Shipping is $8 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US.

A beautiful quality and designed Norway silver berry spoon c1885-90. This spoon is Norwegian in origin, and it has a wonderful Aesthetic hand engraved design on the flat handle. The shank of the spoon is unusual, being square with columnar divisions, and this spoon measures 9-1/2" long and the spoon bowl measures 2-1/8" across the bowl. It has the marks M. OLSEN 830S and a fancy Gothic JW (or GW) on the underside of the handle. Berry serving spoons (sometimes known now as casserole spoons) are wonderful multi-purpose serving pieces, and this Aesthetic Movement beauty would look beautiful on any table. This item is in excellent condition, with no dents, bends, corrosion, repairs or damage. Surface shipping is $8 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher. Expresspost-air post and Fedex are available for faster shipping options - please email with your zip code or postal code for the rates. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US.

A sterling silver serving or table spoon, made in and hallmarked for Exeter, England 1793-4. This 8-1/2" serving spoon has the maker's mark for Joseph Hicks; sterling production at Exeter ceased in 1882. This item is in fine condition, with no wear, scratches, corrosion, repairs or damage other than some minor dimpling in the bowl (exaggerated in the picture), and a mostly rubbed unidentified monogram as well as some slight wear on the very tip of the spoon from use, as would be expected on a 200 year old spoon. Please note that our photos are taken before these items are polished to enhance detail; they will appear better than our scans and will shipped to you cleaned and polished. They are strictly graded and any defects and wear other than the expected signs of gentle use are noted.

A superbly crafted Gorham sterling silver, crystal and lizard skin (sorry, don't know which type) mounted man's drinking flask with a sterling twist top dated 1908. The fancy embossed, cork-lined twist open top is uninitialled and stamped Sterling, and the detachable drinking cup retains its original gilding on the interior, and is marked with the Gorham hallmarks, Sterling 3/8 Pint, and the number S3144 on the bottom. It is decorated with a crescent moon filled with four stars on one side and the fancy scripted initials PCSCSS (?) 1908 on the other. The crystal flask is in excellent shape with only 3 tiny fleabites on the inside rim under the cap. The lizard skin (we think) wrapping the flask has two oblong openings to show the level of the contents, and is in good shape, although it has shrunk with age and has slightly pulled back from the upper edge of the drinking cup. It also has a split at the bottom of the window on each side, but the flaps have been affixed to the glass at some point, and the skin fits snugly with no lifted or worn edges. The flask measures 6-1/8" x 3-3/4" and would be a prize for any collection. Shipping is $11 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US.

A ebony brush and mirror set in their original silk lined box c1890-1900. This set consists of the following: the small 9" natural bristled brush with a silver plated or aluminum unmonogrammed mount, the 9-5/8" bevelled mirror with silverplated or aluminum mount, and the original 10-3/4" x 3-3/4" and 2-1/8" high black paper-wrapped box with silverplated latch and retaining mounts with a green fitted silk liner. This unsigned set is unusually made of solid hand tooled ebony. This set is in very good condition, with the following notes on condition: the box has some corner and edge rubbing, and the silk has faded at the brush mount, the wood block mount for the mirror on the lid is loose, and there is a slot for a (now missing) comb; it also has a"old" odour - not quite musty, but possibly it hasn't been opened in a while, and could use airing out and the mirror has a bit of the expected oxidation on the silvering (small). Shipping is $8 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US.
