This skewer measures 1-1/8" across the beaded-edge loop; it has a Gothic B monogram and the marks for an English silverplate company. This item is in excellent original condition with no scrapes, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a slight bend on the tip of the blade. A scarce Gorham sterling child's or youth set, consisting of a 6-3/8" fork and 7-3/8" solid handle knife in the Gorham Louis XIV sterling pattern, first issued by Gorham in 1870. This early Gorham set was purchased as a gift and keepsake for the birth of a child, and these accessories are very sought after. This set is in very good condition, with no dents, bends, corrosion, repairs or damage other than a bit of rounding and teethmarks to the tines and a bit of scratching to the silver knife blade. A beautiful quality and designed Norway silver berry spoon c1885-90. This spoon is Norwegian in origin, and it has a wonderful Aesthetic hand engraved design on the flat handle. The shank of the spoon is unusual, being square with columnar divisions, and this spoon measures 9-1/2" long and the spoon bowl measures 2-1/8" across the bowl. It has the marks M. OLSEN 830S and a fancy Gothic JW (or GW) on the underside of the handle. Berry serving spoons (sometimes known now as casserole spoons) are wonderful multi-purpose serving pieces, and this Aesthetic Movement beauty would look beautiful on any table. An ornate Victorian period 9-1/4" silver plated berry or casserole serving spoon by the Toronto Silver Plate Co. c1880s-90. They were in business from 1879-1905. The bowl of the spoon measures 3-1/2" x 2-3/4", and it has an attractive raised pattern. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, pattern wear, plate wear, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. The plating is in exceptionally fine and unused looking condition, so we believe that it may have been replated at some point in the past. It has not been monogrammed. A finely crafted Georg Jensen style sterling gravy ladle in the Arts & Crafts style, made by the American Cellini Craft company of Chicago c1930s. This 6-1/4" ladle has a 2-1/4" wide bowl and a hand hammered finish on all surfaces; it has a looping arch of silver with nodes terminating in a ball which stands proud of the handle and is reminiscent of the Georg Jensen style. It is stamped CELLINI CRAFT HANDWROUGHT STERLING S 53 on the back; it has a Gothic style M.E.S monogram on the heel of the bowl. Formed in 1914, this company was bought out by Reed and Barton in 1965. This item is in excellent condition with no staining, losses, dents, corrosion, repairs or damage.
