A splendid, well made vintage 1950s crystal and rhinestone gold plated fly pin. Possibly Austrian, this unsigned pin measures 2-1/4" x 1-3/4" and it has gold plated filigree openwork "wings" and a safety catch. The stones include a huge faceted topaz coloured unfoiled crystal, champagne and cinnamon brown rhinestones and a teardrop cabochon crystal. All are closed back and claw set except the unfoiled central crystal. This beauty is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a touch of wear to the plating on the back (barely noticeable).
