A highly embossed, ornate 1-3/8 x 1-1/8" gold filled photo locket c1880s with the original 25-1/2" herringbone style chain. The unsigned locket has a different design on both sides and it retains a photo retaining bezel. The chain has the original barrel clasp, and this pendant and chain are in very good original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs to the locket, however the chain has some small flattened areas and the clasp has been crushed (although it still functions fine). A scarce deep navy blue bakelite two piece brass mounted leaf-form belt buckle c1930s. This buckle consists of two 1-7/8 x 1-5/8" deep blue bakelite segments, both deeply carved with a star and wavy border. Each has brass mounts, and this unsigned buckle is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor surface corrosion on the brass tongue on one segment. It is likely that the carving was done later, as was common to these pieces. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted.
