A great and unusual Art Deco period Scottish terrier pin with a brown carved celluloid/composition head and rhinestone-encrusted body c1920s. This scarce vintage 2-1/8" x 2" pot metal pin with a c-clasp features a hand painted eye and black nose. The head of the dog is a dark brown, and appears to have been hand carved - the celluloid has a wood-like appearance. These early paste brooches rarely survive in such great original shape, as they were often worn on coats. It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor yellowing on a few of the rhinestones. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A vintage 1950s sumptuous and high quality unsigned rhinestone parure, consisting of the 15-3/4" long and 1-5/8" at its widest hook-end necklace, the 7-1/8" long and 1" wide bracelet and the matching 1" x 3/4" clip-on earrings. The high quality stones consist of deep blue sapphire central stones and pale blue rhinestones, all claw-set. The bracelet has a safety chain (unhooked for photography) and this parure is in excellent original condition. A wild, sparkly and vivid stamped Austrian gold plated brooch and matching earrings set c1950s. This set consists of the 2-1/8" x 1-5/8" tiered brooch and the 1" snap back earrings. All have filigree work gold plated settings and bright hot pink and rose pink and a slightly lighter pink faceted claw set crystals and rhinestones. The outside larger marquise shaped stones on the pin are open backed / unfoiled, and it closes with a safety catch. It is stamped MADE IN AUSTRIA, and this high quality and show-stopping set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, corrosion, repairs or damage. A great looking vintage 1950s pink rhinestone and painted glass necklace. This unsigned beauty features flashy pink claw-set rhinestones and lozenge-shaped pale pink glass links with black overpainting. The 7/8 x 1/2" segments are linked by free moving metal bars and this necklace has a hook end with a rhinestone. This item is in excellent original condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small flake to one glass insert (second link on right in image 2) and a couple of small scrapes to the paint on two of the links (the white areas are light flares from our halogens and are not chips).
