A vintage and attractive 14K yellow gold flower-style Edwardian diamond ring c1900-10. This size 5-1/4 ring is 14k yellow gold, and it has a 15 point (by gauge) genuine diamond mounted with large claws. The diamond measures 3 mm. across, and the top of the ring is 3/16" across. The diamond is clear and clean, no visible inclusions under a 10X loupe, and this ring weighs 2.2 grams. Made in England by EAP for sale by Birks, Canada's top retailer of finery, this set is in the original gold trimmed German made silk and plush lined 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" box. Each button is 9/16" across and each is marked 9C EAP. Unusually, this set has one 1/4" deep button and one is 7/16" deep to allow for a different thickness of material (from silk to thick linen).
