A late Victorian size 9 ring with garnets and diamonds c1890-1900. This ring features three garnets with 4 mine cut natural diamonds between them; this ring measures 11/16 x 5/16" across the top. It is stamped 14K with an unidentified maker's mark and the gold tends towards a rose gold colour. A late Georgian-earlyVictorian period 15K yellow gold Vauxhall glass mourning ring c1830-50. This lovely size 5-1/2 antique ring has an ornate floral design in 15k (tested) yellow gold, and as is often found on rings of this period, the band is also ornate even on the bottom of the band. Vauxhall glass was made to imitate jet or gemstones (named after the Vauxhall factory near London, where it was originally produced in the 18th century), and this ring has 6 bezel-set facetted black stones (1 replaced). It measures 1" along the stones and 3/16" wide. As is not uncommon with mourning jewellery, this ring is not stamped (but has been tested). It weighs 1.6 grams, and it is in very good condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, or damage other than some expected surface wear to the original stones. All
