It has an unusual lavender purple swirl appearance and the silver mount accents this movement. This pin is signed AIDAN TORONTO HANDMADE SILVER 925, and it has a safety catch as well a loop for wear as a pendant. A great looking Mexican sterling silver pin and matching screwback earrings by Nestor, a respected designer in (probably) the 1950s. This set consists of the 2-5/8 x 1-5/8" pin and the matching 7/8" across earrings. Each is in metales casados (mixed metals) including brass, silver and copper with black enamel, with a mosaico azteca ground (crushed azurite and malachite stones). The pin, which has a safety catch and a loop for wear as a pendant, both have the marks NESTOR 925 HC EN TAX (hecho en Taxco) STERLING MEXICO METALES.
