A great looking Mexican sterling silver Metales Casados pin c1950s-60s. This anamorphic 2-1/4" X 1 3/4" pin has a black resin stylized bird on a silver, copper and brass ground; the silver backing to the black resin is stamped HECHO EN MEXICO 925 and it has a safety catch. It weighs 15.9 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A stunning, ultramodern vintage 1950s Mexican sterling silver pin by Enrique Ledesma. This 2-1/8" x 1 1-1/2" modernist pin features what appears to be a rough mixture of azurmalachite inlaid in an undulating silver brooch. It has a rough, naturalistic texture, with small spots revealing malachite below, and it has a safety catch; it is stamped LEDESMA TAXCO 925 with a bell mark. It weighs 15.0 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. Both the brooch and screwback earrings have open layered discs of silver, the middle of which has been burnished in black. An attractive 1-7/8" Mexican sterling silver and metales casados (mixed metal) brooch with a Mayan bird against an inlaid natural turquoise ground c1950s. The metals include silver, copper and brass, and this pin has a safety catch and a loop for wear as a pendant. It is stamped MEXICO TAXCO 925 CPB with a bell mark with a 2. An unusual vintage Mexican sterling brooch in the form of three chain-linked butterflies with glass turquoise cabochons c1930s. This pin has three different sized butterflies (all with their own pins on back), with the largest 1-7/8" across and the smallest 1-3/8". Each segment has a safety catch pin and each is stamped MEXICO STERLING. This item is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses or damage other than a crease in the surface of one cabochon on the large butterfly, the re-soldering of the antennae on the large butterfly, and one of the turquoise glass stones has been glued upside down on the medium butterfly.
