An attractive 1-7/8" Mexican sterling silver and metales casados (mixed metal) brooch with a Mayan bird against an inlaid natural turquoise ground c1950s. The metals include silver, copper and brass, and this pin has a safety catch and a loop for wear as a pendant. It is stamped MEXICO TAXCO 925 CPB with a bell mark with a 2. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; unlike our pictures, the metal shines brightly and the turquoise is a deep green colour. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A cool, ultramodern style Mexican sterling silver 1-3/4" brooch and matching 7/8" earrings. Both the brooch and screwback earrings have open layered discs of silver, the middle of which has been burnished in black. They are stamped ERAS STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO with a 19 bell or eagle mark; they weigh 25.5 grams and they are in very good original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some minor losses to the black on the pin. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A large and attractive 2" across vintage Mexican sterling silver brooch pendant with a colourful and shimmering natural tigereye cabochon stone c1950s. This pin features an aztec design with a blackened / patinated background surrounding the tigereye, and it has a loop for wear as a pendant as well as a safety catch. Nice solid workmanship and a well made piece. It is signed MEXICO TAXCO 925 MB with a bell mark with a 1. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; it has a naturally occuring 1/8" across area of roughness on the surface of the stone. A large and vintage c1930s Mexican sterling baby deer pin. This 3 x 1-3/8" pin is of hollow construction, and it has a green turquoise glass eye. It has a safety catch, and it is stamped PLATA STERLING 925.
