A scarce English bone china hand painted over transfer souvenir 2-7/8" tall cup and matching 5-3/4" saucer depicting the Grenfell Mission Hospital in St. Anthony, Newfoundland, Canada c1930. The Grenfell Mission Hospital was established by Wilfred Grenfell, and is now famous for its handicrafts made by women in Newfoundland and Labrador, especially the highly collectible Grenfell rugs. This gold trimmed cup and saucer is marked ROYAL ASCOT BONE CHINA 350 MADE IN ENGLAND EXCLUSIVELY FOR POMEROY BROS ST ANTHONY NFLD. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs. All

A beautiful American advertising premium item c1900. It consists of a fine silver plated frame with fancy design work holding a sheaf of 7 oblong blotting papers, and covered with a celluloid lined cover. Issued as an advertising premium and marked E.H. NOBLE & CO. JEWELERS FINDINGS STEEL SHELL JEWELLERY BOXES CHICAGO ILL. on the ornate Art Nouveau silver plated mount, this 7-1/2" x 2-3/4" blotter is in superb original unused condition. The plated binding (held by tabs through the papers) is in excellent shape, the lined celluloid cover is excellent with only the expected very minor fine abrasions from age and the green blotters appear to be in unused excellent condition except for the top leaf which has faded from exposure to light (see picture).
