A vintage hardbody silk and plush lined Elgin pocket watch box c1920-30. This 4-1/4" x 3-5/8" box features a wine-coloured cloth wrapping, gilt brass metalwork, a silk lid interior and a red velvet fitted platform with a hook for hanging the watch. The indent measures 43-44 mm across. I am not sure what the watch body to movement ratio is, so I am guessing anywhere from a size 12 to size 16 watch? It has an Elgin stamp on the top cover and on the silk interior, and this watch accessory is in very good original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some scraping and tearing to the cloth on the lid (see pics), some gold plating loss and the loss of the plush covering over the interior watch hook. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. An ornate pair of Art Nouveau sterling silver 4" sewing scissors c1900. These scissors have high relief floral handles; they are marked STERLING and they are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some wobble and looseness at the screw pivot and at the join of one ear at the blade mount (easily replastered). A nice amber coloured celluloid cigar holder with an 18K plated gold band and original fitted case. This 2-5/8" holder measures 5/8" across, and it is signed R.H&S Ltd 18PG (for 18K plated gold). The black papered red velvet lined box has a brass pushbutton clasp, and this item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor edge rubbing on the case and some bite and teeth marks on the holder. A nice Edwardian vintage natural amber 2-5/8" x 11/16" cigar holder c1910. This unmarked holder features a gilt sterling upper band and an applied sterling shield. The shield has not ever been monogrammed. This item is in excellent original condition with no cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some small edge dents to the silver band, some very small chipping around the mouthpiece area. A simple and elegant ladies wristwatch from Christian Dior with its original case. It has a brushed stainless steel case, with a grey watch face - the numbers and hands are gold, and it is marked Christian Dior Paris, (as is the strap and case). It is a manual wind (winder enamelled CD), and the 17 jewel works were made by Wittnauer (Geneva, Switzerland) - the case is also Swiss. The strap is a dark grey lizard/leather, backed with pale gray leather, with a clever CD insignia adjustable clasp. The case is grey suede with silk & velvet lining, and other than a small pen mark, it is in excellent shape. It is a genuine vintage Christian Dior wristwatch, and it is in excellent condition, in working order & with little wear, but I can't guarantee the working condition time, as I don't know when or if it was ever cleaned. A simple, vintage early Victorian oval brass pocket snuff box c1840-50. This 3-3/4 x 3-1/4" snuffbox is unsigned, and it is in very good original condition with no monograms, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the expected signs of use through the ages (including a shallow scuff on the top); it has a great interior patina, and it shuts well, however it needs a small adjustment to get the lid to sit snugly (it has a small gap at the front). An attractive and scarce sterling mounted cut glass / crystal perfume or cologne bottle sautoir c1910-20. This beauty consists of the 24-1/2" chain necklace with ornate links and the 4-3/4" central dangling chain with a sterling topped perfume or cologne bottle suspended from it. The 1-1/8" x 3/4" bottle is beautifully hand cut with ridged edges; it retains its original fitted stopper. Each spring ring catch is stamped STERLING, and this wonderful necklace is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, dents, corrosion, repairs or damage other than the most tiny of flakes on the top edge of the stopper (barely visible) and a tiny chip to the edge, visible under a high powered loupe only. We have removed the perfume residue since the pictures were taken, and the bottle is clean and unspoiled.
