A Garrard of London sterling silver gravy sauce boat dated 1972. It is fully hallmarked for London, England with a date mark for 1972. It measures just under 6" in length, and is 2-7/8" in width, with a greatest height of 3-1/4" (handle). This elegant boat has three hoof-shaped feet. It has the maker's mark G&Co Ld for Garrard and it is stamped GARRARD & Co Ltd 112 REGENT STREET LONDON W on the bottom. Garrard & Company is one of the most, if not the most prestigious goldmith and jeweller in the UK, and was until recently the Crown jeweller. It weighs 131 grams, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A fine vintage Art Deco style 6-3/4" step sided .800 silver wine slide or coaster. This item was used to slide bottles of wine along the table (most had wood bottoms with felt or fabric). This one is stamped A800 with an A (bee or figure) C maker's mark. This mark was used in Belgium on silver articles after 1942, we have been unable to identify the maker as yet. A sterling silver cigarette case with an enamel crest from the Royal Canadian Air Force hallmarked 1937. This vintage classic silver case an engine-turned design and a triple F monogram (probably presented to a World War I soldier) and it retains all of the original interior gilding. The original cigarette retaining spring is present but typically slightly stretched. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1937 and it weighs 97.9 grams. It has the maker's mark for Samuel M. Levi Ltd. The interior guard spring for the cigarettes is still present, but a bit stretched at each end. The case closes shut firmly and is aligned, but please note there is a slight bowing in the middle. This is likely an easy fix, even an at-home one. This item is in otherwise excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An original Rumrill Indian Group orange and bay glaze vase. This great looking, authentic and vintage signed RumRill 5-1/2" tall American art pottery bulbous vase c1935-39 has a crimped star-shaped rim and a tan interior, and it is in the Indian Group line with the orange and bay glaze. It has a 309 style number and the vintage RumRill signature, and the orange and brown glaze is superbly applied, giving this example a great look reminiscent of the (much later) German art pottery of the 1950s and 1960s.
