An American Elegant Glass 10" footed comport or fruit bowl in the etched Meadow Wreath pattern, in the Radiance line, issued from 1926-44 by New Martinsville. An American elegant clear etched glass fruit bowl made by Heisey. This 9-1/"2 x 8" fruit bowl stands 3" high and it has a finely etched motif of butterflies and flowers on stems with leaves. It is lovely quality and and it has the Heisey H in diamond mark in the centre. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage other than an indentation on the upper rim where a butterfly was etched into the rim (original to the manufacture of the bowl and not damage). A decorative vintage Czechoslovakian pedestal fruit or centerpiece bowl in orange and black (actually a dark amethyst) art glass c1920s. The simplicity and elegance of the Weiner Werkstatte Arts & Crafts movement is well represented in the Austian - Czechoslovakian glass of this period, and you can see its design affect in this piece. This cased orange on black amethyst console bowl measures 10-3/4" across and it stands 6-1/8" high; it has a hollow blown pedestal and it is acid etched CZECHOSLOVAKIA or CZECHOSLOVAKIE in a straight line on the bottom. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. A lovely, decorative American elegant art glass center-handled large serving dish or bowl with a thick, gold encrusted design with fine etching c1920s. This 9-5/8" across dish stands 4-1/2" high and it could be used to serve candies or cakes or an assortment of nuts. The gold encrusting has Greek inspired floral panels and thick matte and gloss banding with lush gold washes on the handle and upper part of the bowl. The glass itself is amber in colour and it retains part of its original tag for 22 Karat Lotus design, issued by Glastonbury/Lotus. We don't know the exact pattern name, and we will add this information if anyone who knows it would care to email. This serving dish is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches, repairs or damage other than some minor losses to the gold on the peaks of the upper edge. An attractive 4" high and 5-1/2" wide art glass basket signed and made by Vasart of Scotland (1946-64). This basket features mottled pale green with small bubble inclusions on the body, and a clear pale blue thick edge containing streaks of red. The subtle textures and colours are quite pleasing, and this art glass basket is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs.
