A decorative vintage Czechoslovakian pedestal fruit or centerpiece bowl in orange and black (actually a dark amethyst) art glass c1920s. The simplicity and elegance of the Weiner Werkstatte Arts & Crafts movement is well represented in the Austian - Czechoslovakian glass of this period, and you can see its design affect in this piece. This cased orange on black amethyst console bowl measures 10-3/4" across and it stands 6-1/8" high; it has a hollow blown pedestal and it is acid etched CZECHOSLOVAKIA or CZECHOSLOVAKIE in a straight line on the bottom. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs.
