An unmarked but Arts and Crafts period bud vase with a square and austere silver plated base and a hand blown and pulled square glass vase insert with a flared neck c1890-1900. This vase measures 7/8" across the base and it stands 6" high; it has all of the handcrafted style expected in the Arts and Crafts European style of this era. We were informed that it probably came from Scotland originally. This vase is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, dents, repairs or damage other than a slight bit of brassing at the edges of the stand. A matching pair of English silverplated pierced napkin rings c1900-10. These Edwardian 1-5/8" across and 1-1/4" wide rings have a pierced design with maple leaves; they are stamped H.T&S ENGLAND EPNS and they are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A large fine quality silver plated engraved rose bowl with an arrangement grid or rose grid or frog c1940-50. It measures 9-3/4" across the engraved and openwork ribbed bowl with ornate high relief borders; it has the original rose grid or frog (to allow for a more orderly floral arrangement, and the keep the stems upright) and it is marked MARLBORO PLATE 309 47. Marlboro plate was the best quality silver plate sold at the Hudson's Bay store chain - it is either triple plate or quadruple plate silver plate. This item is in excellent condition, with no dents, bends, monograms, repairs or damage other than a spot of surface corrosion in the center of the bowl, and the edge ring of the rose grid or frog will require re-soldering.
