An attractive sterling round compact, made by Ecco c1940s. This 2-1/2" compact has a hand engraved design on the front with the name Lois engraved in the center; it is convex shaped rather than flat. It has the mirror in the lid and a flip up powder compartment. This compact is in fine condition with no dents, cracks, repairs or damage other than some slight spotting on the mirror and the typical fine silver patina. A rare "go-with" in the International sterling Enchanted Rose pattern, introduced in 1954.
