A fine quality Chinese carved and coloured bone scrimshaw brooch in an ornate filigree gilt silver setting c1920s-30s. This 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" pin has a safety catch and it is marked MADE IN CHINA SILVER; the scene is of flying birds with flowers and branches. The black and orange of the flowers is mostly intact however the green of the leaves and branches has faded, and this item is in good original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the fading of the green colour and a tiny crack in one extreme corner. An attractive vintage Art Deco Noritake 7-1/2" diameter fruit bowl with two handles. This 3-3/4" high bowl fetaures colourful handpainted fruits and flowers on the interior, which has a blue/green luster rim, center and exterior with lush gold trim. The fruit is painted on a white pearlized ground, and this bowl has the red M in wreath Made in Japan mark from around 1920. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor gold wear on the edges of the handles. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A cheerful vintage Eastern Woodlands Canadian Indian beadwork round wall hanging c1920-30. It is of Native Canadian - Eastern Woodlands origin, and this 5-1/2" diameter hanging is cotton backed (crimson colour) with a more recently applied simple thread hanger for hanging; it depicts a bird in bright cobalt opaque beads, with yellow feathers, beak and eyes. It sits on a black branch with a black bead design border and a clear blue bead rim. This item was well stored, and is in clean, excellent original condition with no missing beadwork, damage, losses, repairs or dirt other than a slight bit of dust between the beads. An excellent quality vintage 1920s handpainted cruet set consisting of the salt and pepper shakers, mustard pot and handled tray. This set features excellent hand painting, gold trim and great looks. The two-handled tray measures 6-1/4" long and the shakers are 3-1/8" tall. Each has a gold symbol (M, P and S), the shakers retain their original corks, and the tray is marked HAND PAINTED in red on the bottom.
