A red felt Inuit hand made hand puppet c1950s-60s. This 10-1/2" x 8" puppet has a hand stitched leather face with hair, eyes, nose and red stitch mouth, a natural fur hood and mittens, and white applied machine embroidery, the puppet body is machine stitched. There are no identification marks on this puppet, but we were informed that it was purchased originally in Coppermine (now known as Kugluktuk), Nunevut/Northwest Territories, Canada, which is located near the Arctic ocean. This item is in excellent condition with no staining, fading, tears, losses, repairs or damage.
