A Roger Williams sterling footed openwork bowl circa 1905. This nice quality openwork sterling silver ball-footed bowl was made by the Roger Williams Silver Co.. They purchased the Howard Silver dies in 1901, merged with Mauser in 1903, then with Hays & McFarland Co. to found Mount Vernon Silversmiths. They were later bought by Gorham. This 6-3/8" x 4-3/4" ball footed dish is stamped I.R. PRINDLE (retailer) RW (Williams mark) STERLING and 7107 (pattern number).
