| An early 1950s electric gramophone record player made in England, featuring an electric motor and horn gramophone transducer (acoustic, no speaker). The case is excellently illustrated with 1950s colourful dancing teenagers and musical instruments, sort of American Bandstand style. The transducer has a blue plastic head and blue painted horn, and the turntable is red, with traces of the original red felt. It has an applied SKS ELECTRONICS sticker applied to the front. This gramophone is in very good condition, with no repairs or damage other than the following: the motor hums but will not turn and could use rebuilding and lubrication; the red felt liner is worn off the turntable; there is some scratching on the top graphic from travel of the needle; there is some paint loss to the metal horn; the graphics are a bit soiled and could use a cleaning. This victrola is available in other designs and this one would make a superb decorator accent. Surface shipping starts at $22 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insurance to $95 is automatically included. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. PLEASE NOTE: we do NOT accept Paypal. | ||
