| A fine quality two piece openwork sterling string holder, made by Gorham c1890-1900. This holder weighs 3 ounces, it measures 3-1/4" in diameter and it stands 3-1/4" high. It has the Gorham maker's mark with STERLING B1294 on the bottom, and this item is in excellent condition, with no monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage; there is a tiny dent on the bottom. An unusual find for your silver or string holder collection, and would also work well for pot-pourri.
