| A vintage Art Nouveau period hand enamelled glass rose bowl c1885-1900. This finely blown 4-1/8" tall late Victorian glass vase measures 4" across. The enamelling is expertly done, with wonderful detail to the flowers, which include daisies. The vibrantly coloured enamels are thickly applied and expertly rendered; the bottom of the vase has an unfinished, rough prunt. There are traces of gold on the top lobed edge of the vase, as well as a slight and subtle oil-like irridescence on the glass itself. It is unsigned, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, scratches, repairs or damage other than a couple of very tiny abrasions to the lower leaves (barely noticeable, and the enamel remains in remarkable condition even after 100+ years).
