| A truly superb and rare vintage Art Deco period enamel and gilt brass belt c1920s. This 28-3/4" belt features 1-1/2" x 7/16" gold plated brass links with three royal blue and two light peach-orange enamel stripes on each one; each is linked with brass loops and the belt ends in a hook on one end and a large gilt brass loop at the other - the hook has cobalt blue enamel in a slightly ornate curling design. This is a genuine fired enamel, not merely painted, and would have been an expensive piece in its time. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, staining, dents, corrosion, repairs or damage other than some enamel loss on the hook end (the middle part) and some very slight flakes and losses to six of the links (very slight and tiny, largest loss shown). A great and scarce addition to a vintage clothing or enamel collection.
