| A mid 19th century unsigned 3-1/2" x 1-7/8" papier-mache snuffbox with brass hinge and mother of pearl inlay. This box has nice pink and green fire from the inlay, and is in very good original condition with no chips, damage or repairs other than some shallow under-surface cracking on the top (not through the black finish) and the loss of a bit of the fine banding on the interior border of the inlay. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted. Uninsured surface shipping starts at $6 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $100 if paid with a credit card. We do ship internationally.
