| A lovely Victorian period deep cobalt glass lidded powder jar with hand applied enamelling c1885. This 3-3/4" diameter and 3" tall jar features white and yellow hand painted enamel daisies on the lid, with traces of the original gilding (now mostly missing). Cobalt glass was always a premium glass, as it has always been more expensive to produce. This item is in very good original condition with no cracks, scrapes, damage or repairs other than the loss of the gilding and a few small rim flakes to the top and one on the bottom rim. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted. Small packet surface shipping starts at $8 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $95 if paid with a credit card. We do ship internationally.
