| A decorative and fine 19th century English cup and saucer with black transferware decoration c1860. This 2-3/8" high cup and matching 5-3/8" deep saucer both feature painted black trim and transfer scenes of a walking couple and a carriage approaching a manor house. There is a vignette of an elk on the other side of this unmarked cup, and this item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a tiny flake to the handpainted black rim of the cup, some tiny spots of wear to the black rims, and the expected minor glaze irregularities. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted. Surface shipping is $8 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. We do ship internationally.
