| A funky retro period set of three vintage gilt sterling silver pins in the shape of squirrels c1940s-50s. The mother measures 3-1/4" x 1-3/4" and the baby squirrels measure 1-1/4" x 7/8" each. This set appears to be studio made, and the pins have safety catches. They are in very good original condition with no scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of 1/2 of the gilding on the babies and 2/3 on the mother (probably from overly aggressive polishing in the past). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
