| A large 14-1/4" English silver plate meat skewer from the 19th century. This skewer measures 1-1/8" across the beaded-edge loop; it has a Gothic B monogram and the marks for an English silverplate company. This item is in excellent original condition with no scrapes, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a slight bend on the tip of the blade. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping starts at $7 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card; credit card items will be shipped to confirmed addresses only.
