| A most attractive vintage sterling silver Art Nouveau period brooch c1900. A flowing haired fin-du-siecle beauty, staring wistfully off, with a large poppy (a symbol of forgetfulness) beside her. It is a large brooch, measuring 2 7/16" x 2 1/4". Sterling front and back, and it is very slightly curved, as they sometimes were, to sit better on the body. It is stamped Sterling only, but is clearly a fine quality example. Original nickle pin and c-clasp, and excellent condition - no damage or repairs. A lovely example of Art Nouveau period jewellery, and guaranteed to be an original period brooch. Small packet surface shipping starts $6 (to the US - other spots may vary) and insured is higher.
