| A beautiful vintage Art Nouveau 10K yellow gold ring set with a river pearl c1900. This elegant size 9-1/2 ring weighs 2.0 grams, and it features an oval river pearl set in the middle of the floral pattern 5/8" x 1/2" front (top) of the ring. It is stamped Lucerne and 10K on the band. River pearls are fresh water pearls found in rivers - many were found in the Mississippi and other North American rivers, and they were immensely popular in jewellery in the late 19th and early 20th century. It is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small bend to the ring shank and some dullness to the pearl. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
