| An attractive 1-7/8" Mexican sterling silver and metales casados (mixed metal) brooch with a Mayan bird against an inlaid natural turquoise ground c1950s. The metals include silver, copper and brass, and this pin has a safety catch and a loop for wear as a pendant. It is stamped MEXICO TAXCO 925 CPB with a bell mark with a 2. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; unlike our pictures, the metal shines brightly and the turquoise is a deep green colour. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
