| An attractively carved Victorian period shell cameo portrait brooch in rolled gold plate c1860-80. This 2" x 1-7/8" pin has a safety catch and applied gilt floral decorations; there is no bottom decoration however there is no trace of the two solder points used to attach each of the other three decorations and it may not have been present originally. This brooch is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, other than artifacts of the expected crude construction of these cameos. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
