| An Arts & Crafts vintage period sterling and baisse-taille enamel lingerie pin (have also seen them called baby pins, but they are lingerie pins...) c1900-10. This small pin makes up for its size in quality and appeal, and consists of baisse-taille enamel in pale, subtle hues of white and mauve. The mauve colour is very pale and adds a pleasant contrast to the white background. This pin measures 1" x 1/4" and is stamped STERLING 925 and bears the marks for Roden Brothers of Toronto, who were bought out by Birks in the 1920s. This pin is in excellent condition, with no cracks, wear, repairs or damage. There is a pin point sized spot at the edge caused by a tiny air burst in the enamel, and another tiny spot where the enamel has slightly flowed over almost to the edge of the pin - this looks dark in our blown-up photo, but it is actually white coloured in real life. These are both original to the manufacture of the piece, not damage, but we like to mention all details. Surface shipping is $6.30 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher.
