| A nice quality openwork sterling silver ball-footed bowl c1900. Made by the Roger Williams Silver Co., they purchased the Howard Silver dies in 1901, merged with Mauser in 1903, then with Hays & McFarland Co. to found Mount Vernon Silversmiths. They were later bought by Gorham. This 6-3/8" x 4-3/4" ball footed dish is stamped I.R. PRINDLE (retailer) RW (Williams mark) STERLING and 7107 (pattern number). It weighs 81.2 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $8 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
