An attractive 3-7/8" high open hatpin holder c1920s. This holder features attractive hand painting and gold trim, and it is from the Byzanta Ware line, issued by Royal Winton Grimwades of England. This vanity item has the Byzanta stamp, an impressed 8 and a gold handwritten 4862 pattern number. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some very slight rubs to the gold on the upper rim and some overall crazing. The interior and exterior lustre is intact and bright. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
