| A 4-1/2" pair of beautifully engraved English sterling silver sugar tongs fully hallmarked for Sheffield, England 1897-8 with the maker's mark AP. They have an attractive hand engraved naturalistic foliate or leaf design with two areas for initials which, most unusual, have no monograms at all. This item is in excellent condition, with no dents, bends, monograms, wear, scratches, corrosion, repairs or damage. A lovely engraved pair of sugar tongs.
