| A vintage 1950s-60s sterling silver 14-1/4" necklace and matching 7" bracelet with bezel set facetted square cut rhinestones, made by Avon Belleville. Founded by Abe Mazer of Mazer/Jomaz and located in Belleville, Ontario, Canada (1945-71), this company was purchased by the California Perfume Company (Avon) in 1971 (info from Illusionjewels, with thanks). Each piece is 3/16" wide and each has a snapover catch; they are signed AVON STERLING. This set weighs 23.9 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor yellowing of the round rhinestones on the clasps. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
