| An unusual pair of 9k yellow gold collar buttons or studs in the original fitted box. Made in England by EAP for sale by Birks, Canada's top retailer of finery, this set is in the original gold trimmed German made silk and plush lined 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" box. Each button is 9/16" across and each is marked 9C EAP. Unusually, this set has one 1/4" deep button and one is 7/16" deep to allow for a different thickness of material (from silk to thick linen). The pair weighs 1.8 grams, and this set and box are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than just a touch of wear to the bottom of the box. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
