| An attractive and large 3-5/8" sterling silver pancake makeup compact with mirror fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1932-3. This compact has an engine turned design on both sides with a monogram area on one side (never monogrammed); it has an S.B.& S.Ld. maker's mark, it has a retaining ring for the powder and it weighs 110 grams. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a shallow, barely noticeable dent on the monogram area. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
