A large and heavy 8-1/2" Georgian Dublin sterling silver dinner fork, hallmarked for 1829. This heavy fork has an attractive double dolphin crest on the back of the handle and has the maker's mark for Matthew West and Peter Moore. Antique Irish silver is far scarcer than English, and this fork is a great find. A silver marcasites chariot & goats shell cameo pin brooch from 1900 1920. This unusual and beautiful vintage .800 silver filigree mounted shell cameo brooch has a barrel or trombone clasp, the setting is stamped with two marks that are difficult to make out as well as ITALY 800, and the hand carved shell cameo depicts a winged putto or angel figure in a chariot being pulled by two rearing goats (as they are wont to do...). The carving is fine and detailed and undoubtedly the work of a talented artisan, although, as is often the case, there is no signature on the back. The marcasites shine brightly and this 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" cameo is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, wear, repairs or damage. An enamel 800 silver enamel snuffbox or snuff box depicting the German resort city of Bad Ems. It measures 1-15/16" x 1-3/8". The lid is slightly convex and it is just under 5/8" deep/tall. The top of the hinged oval box features a completely hand enameled aerial scenic view of the city. It takes a enamelist of some training and skill, as not only must they be able to depict the view properly in enamel, but know how the enamel reacts when it is fired, as the colors change. The enamel is fine quality, and was done by hand. It is stamped either KFK or KEK, and 800. I have seen that mark on a few enamel souvenir spoons and a ring, I believe it dates to possibly around 1900 to 1920. It weighs 26.7 grams, the interior is gilded, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Moritz Elimeyer 900 silver brandy pan or measure, probably dating to the late 19th century. This elegant antique silver piece has a twist decoration and interior gilding. It is 5-1/4" in length with the bowl measuring 2-5/8 across the rim with a depth of 1-1/4". It has the company and German post 1886 silver marks of ELIMEYER 900 with an S with crossed hammers Dresden maker's mark and the German post 1886 silver moon and crown. It holds approximately 2 - 2-1/2 ounces, and was used to add a little warming brandy to alleviate the chill in cold weather. It also has a crowned CL crest/monogram on the handle which appears to be a legacy mark from the 16th century House of Hanover royal monogram of Christian Louis, Duke of Brunswick-Luneburg (this item was possibly owned by a descendant). This is the same House of Hanover related to the current British royal family from the reign of George I, who was the reigning Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg when he became the king of England is 1720. A handmade Art Deco pewter inkstand from the 1920s. This absolutely fabulous vintage Art Deco sheet pewter-over-wood desk set consists of the 8-5/8 x 5-1/2" base, with a fitted glass inkwell, a hand-done optical checkerboard Deco motif (stippled and gloss segments) and a matching 8 x 7/8" letter opener, which rests on one of the two channels on the base (the other is for a pen). Also included is a 5-1/8 x 2-1/8" rocking ink blotter with screw-on knob and checkerboard motif. An Indonesian Yogya solid silver belt buckle from 1900 or earlier. This beautifully hand tooled openwork buckle measures 4-1/2 x 2-7/8" when the two halves are attached with their hook and eye clasp. They have one belt retention bar each and it is unsigned but tests as high grade silver. A Mexican sterling silver and amethyst cabochons bracelet circa 1930s 1940 This 7-3/8" length and 5/8" wide bracelet is a classic Mexico design, and the gem stones are genuine. This bracelet is stamped STERLING 925 TAXCO with a 3 eagle mark. It weighs 18.2 grams, it has a box clasp, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but there is a tiny triangle shape gap on one amethyst. It doesn't appear to be a chip from damage. We are strongly of the opinion that it is original to the gathering and polishing of the amethyst, and there is another polished line original to the stone in the same stone. A 9k gold synthetic or lab-created Alexandrite ring circa 1940s. This vintage size 7 retro ring is yellow gold and it has a round facetted claw-set created solitaire Alexandrite stone. This ring weighs 5.6 grams, it measures 3/4" at the widest and 1/2" across the stone. The stone measures 12 mm across and is approximately 7mm deep (measured in setting), so is approximately 7.25 carats in size. It is marked 9CT and has a maker's mark of CJM. No year mark, possibly removal due to a ring sizing. These simulated alexandrites are usually corundum laced with vanadium to produce the color change under different types of lighting, or a treated colourless chrysoberyl. This created gemstone has been around for almost 100 years, and the stones usually test as corundums or sapphires on a gem tester (natural genuine alexandrites are expensive and uncommon, most of what you will see for sale is the simulated version). This stone color variation is primarily purple-to-blue. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An Art Deco 14k & 18k diamonds ring circa 1930s. This vintage size 6 ring features a central brilliant cut 9-10 pt. diamond (by gauge) with two approximately 2 point each brilliant flanking diamonds. This ring measures 7/16 x 1/4" across the diamonds, it weighs 1.5 grams, and it is stamped 14K - 18K with an obscured maker's mark (the ring has been sized at some point in the past). The claws are all present and appear to be in excellent shape. The diamonds are clear and clean looking, no visible inclusions, clouding or damage (there was a little surface dirt that was missed before photos on the large stone, has been since cleaned off). A fine vintage Art Deco style 6-3/4" step sided .800 silver wine slide or coaster. This item was used to slide bottles of wine along the table (most had wood bottoms with felt or fabric). This one is stamped A800 with an A (bee or figure) C maker's mark. This mark was used in Belgium on silver articles after 1942, we have been unable to identify the maker as yet.
