This vintage 1950s-60s sterling silver 14-1/4" necklace and matching 7" bracelet is set with bezel set facetted square cut rhinestones, made by Avon Belleville. Founded by Abe Mazer of Mazer/Jomaz and located in Belleville, Ontario, Canada (1945-71), this company was purchased by the California Perfume Company (Avon) in 1971 (info from Illusionjewels, with thanks). Each piece is 3/16" wide and each has a snapover catch; they are signed AVON STERLING. This bracelet is done in the Komai damascening technique in which gold, copper and silver are inlaid into etched grooves on black oxidized metal backings. A vintage North American tribal beadwork knife sheath with colourful applied beadwork on a fringed moose hide c1930s-50s. This 13-1/2" x 7-1/2" (including fringe) knife sheath has a tall loop for hanging off of a belt; the stiff applied lighter colour hide section at the front of the sheath is attached with twisted fine brass wire. It is a densely beaded item, and spells out "Jack" in white beads, and it has iridescent purple/blue, orange, dark and light green beads. It is in excellent condition with no repairs or damage; there is a loose thread and some sewing holes near the top of the loop, possibly from a now-missing small bit of bead ornamentation. A fine modernist design 835 silver and rutilated quartz brooch made by Kordes & Lichtenfels of Pforzheim Germany circa 1950s 1960. This abstract 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" pin is signed 835 and K&L and it also has the three crown Swedish silver mark, so this piece was imported into Sweden originally to be sold. This 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" pin features square shape cabochon stones with black inclusions called rutilated quartz. It weighs 6.4 grams, it has a safety catch, and it is in mostly excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but there is some bending in the pin. A vintage pair of signed Christian Dior gold plated 1968 striped agate glass clip-on earrings. These 7/8 x 5/8" earrings feature bezel-set rectangular rootbeer coloured glass stones resembling banded agates; they also have a bit of movement similar to tigereyes. A signed Coro green rhinestone pin & earrings in the original box circa 1960s. It features green, dark amber and aurora borealis rhinestones in pin and matching clip-on earrings and this set in the original box. This set consists of the 2-1/4" x 1-1/4" pin with safety catch and the two 7/8" x 1/2" clip-on earrings. The settings are gold plated, and each piece is unsigned. The original box is gold wrapped cardstock with a textured silk-style top with printed logo and ribbon; it also has the plush fitted interior stage and the stand up original Coro $3.00 price tab.
