A Dorflinger decanter with a blown stopper and label circa 1900. This 12-3/8" tall wine decanter (including stopper) is simple and undecorated and made by Dorflinger Glass Co. (1862-1921). This decanter measures 6" across the body, and this decanter retains its original (slightly worn) Dorflinger small sticker or label on the bottom. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs; it has the expected minor straw marks and imperfections found on early hand-blown glass pieces. There is a slight bit of calcium on the bottom which we haven't removed, and the stopper fits loosely as manufactured. A small and decorative handled silverplated candy or serving dish with a pressed glass bowl and a turned wood painted handle c1890. This dish stands 6" high and 5-1/4" long; it is 4-1/2" wide. It is of high quality, with conical feet, a threaded bolt securing the handle and nuts securing the base to the diamond shaped silverplated handle. This dish is unmarked but probably English, and the original fitted pressed glass bowl has a crisp and pleasant pattern. A mother of pearl rgp telescoping lorgnette handle from the 1890s. This eyeglasses extending handle is made of ornate rolled gold plate and hand carved mother of pearl panels with nice colour flash. It measures 5-1/4" when closed and 9-3/8" when opened. The top is 5/8" across, the extension has a fine checkerboard pattern, and the retaining inserts for the eyeglass frame are made of tortoiseshell. The opening is 3.5 mm. and the internal span is 10 mm. An antique Austro-Hungarian or German 1-7/8" x 1-1/4" perfume flask or bottle c1880s-1900. It has an ornate, high relief silver plated floral design overlay, showing the Art Nouveau influence. This unsigned and excellent quality purse perfume bottle has a chain on the lid (but no stopper) along with an engraved name we can't make out. This bottle is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of the stopper (which you can replace with a cork) and a slight touch of wear to the silver plate showing a bit of brass. A matching set of three Daisy and Button pattern early American pattern or pressed glass (EAPG) cruets consisting of a 3" salt and a 3" pepper shaker plus a 3-3/4" hinged-lid mustard pot. The colours include yellow, amber and ice blue and all pieces retain their original metal lids. This scarce vintage 2-3/4" custard glass toothpick holder is in the Vermont or Honeycomb with Flower Band or Inverted Thumbprint Daisy Band pattern, issued by US Glass c1899. It has crisply molded detail on the band, rim and on the feet; the honeycomb design is on the interior. An antique pair of Niagara falls souvenir milk glass spills or mantle vases. These vintage 6" inch tall vases have sprayed-on green colour and hand painted scenes of the falls with thickly dabbed white "foam". The legend SOUVENIR OF NIAGARA FALLS is painted in gold, and these vases show the roughness, straw marks and flaws typical of such souvenir ware. The glass was usually made of stock moulds and was quickly and inexpensively produced. These vases would have been undecorated blanks originally, painted to order for a wholesaler or shop.
