A Gorham sterling silver miniature chamber stick or candle holder dated 1891. This Victorian era ornate chamberstick stands 1-5/8" high and it measures 3-3/8" across the base. It is stamped with the lion/anchor/G mark, along with STERLING 181 and the year cypher for 1891. Although a dainty size, these small candle holders sat on a writing deak or in a travel writing desk, as they had the practical use of melting sealing wax for an envelope or document. It weighs 41.6 grams. The maximum taper width for the opening is 9/16" across. It is in excellent condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A hand painted Ashworth Imari ironstone dinner plate from 1899. This wonderfully decorative Victorian 10-1/2" dinner plate is in the Imari palette with a cobalt and gold border and a central floral panel with Oriental cameos around the edge. We haven't found a name for this pattern however B2050 is the same except with a black ground. It has various stamps including the Ashworth's Ironstone crown mark, B, an artist cypher, the B3665(?) pattern number, an impressed W, plus a hard to read impressed mark and a 7/99 date stamp. This super display plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs. A matching set of three Daisy and Button pattern early American pattern or pressed glass (EAPG) cruets consisting of a 3" salt and a 3" pepper shaker plus a 3-3/4" hinged-lid mustard pot. The colours include yellow, amber and ice blue and all pieces retain their original metal lids. They are in very good original c1880s condition with no cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor chipping to the bottom rims where they sat in the (now missing) fitted glass bottom tray and some minor dents and scrapes to the salt and pepper lids. Blanckensee & Son Ltd., it weighs 307 grams and it has a Gothic Y.L.B.(?) monogram. A late Victorian c1890-1900 moulded 5-1/2" milk glass vase with a high relief scene of a Dutch mother and child at the seashore or lake. The child carries a small sailboat and this unsigned vase has blue sprayed on colour. A large and heavy 8-1/2" Georgian Dublin sterling silver dinner fork, hallmarked for 1829. This heavy fork has an attractive double dolphin crest on the back of the handle and has the maker's mark for Matthew West and Peter Moore. Antique Irish silver is far scarcer than English, and this fork is a great find. This item is in excellent condition, with no dents, bends, monograms, wear, scratches, corrosion, repairs or damage other than some very light scoring on the extreme bottom ends of the tines from use. This scarce vintage 2-3/4" custard glass toothpick holder is in the Vermont or Honeycomb with Flower Band or Inverted Thumbprint Daisy Band pattern, issued by US Glass c1899. It has crisply molded detail on the band, rim and on the feet; the honeycomb design is on the interior. A scarce and early red and white transfer large 10-1/2" rim soup bowl c1830s, in the Tadmor In The Desert pattern. From Jackson's Warranted (England) Holy Bible series, this early c1830s bowl is in fair original condition with no cracks, or repairs; it has the following condition notes - some minor inner rim losses (largest shown is 1/2", looks like a spoon rested in that spot for about 150 years, the rest are small), some minor outer edge glaze flakes, loss of gloss and fine network of cutmarks to the bowl interior from decades of use (not affecting transfer), allover crazing visible on back only, stained area on back. In fine condition considering its age, this scarce bowl shows quite well. A truly unusual vintage Art Nouveau period 7-1/4" x 4-5/8" porcelain dish with a high relief gilt woman smoking c1900. This unsigned dish has lots of gilding, and the woman is emitting a stream of smoke; there is a smoking cigarette to her right. It has a painted mark of 82 in red and it is probably German or Austrian.
