A Vermont US Glass custart toothpick holder circa 1899. This scarce vintage 2-3/4" custard glass toothpick holder is in the Vermont or Honeycomb with Flower Band or Inverted Thumbprint Daisy Band pattern, issued by US Glass c1899. This example is in the custard glass colour, and is a US Glass original period piece, not a reproduction. It has crisply molded detail on the band, rim and on the feet; the honeycomb design is on the interior. It has the expected orange fire found in vintage custard glass pieces when held to the light, and this lovely American pressed or pattern glass toothpick holder is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. A matching set of three Daisy and Button pattern early American pattern or pressed glass (EAPG) cruets consisting of a 3" salt and a 3" pepper shaker plus a 3-3/4" hinged-lid mustard pot. The colours include yellow, amber and ice blue and all pieces retain their original metal lids. They are in very good original c1880s condition with no cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor chipping to the bottom rims where they sat in the (now missing) fitted glass bottom tray and some minor dents and scrapes to the salt and pepper lids. There is also a bit of residue/buildup on the lid interiors and a small internal stress crack under the lid on the threads of the salt shaker. A Dorflinger decanter with a blown stopper and label circa 1900. This 12-3/8" tall wine decanter (including stopper) is simple and undecorated and made by Dorflinger Glass Co. (1862-1921). This decanter measures 6" across the body, and this decanter retains its original (slightly worn) Dorflinger small sticker or label on the bottom. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs; it has the expected minor straw marks and imperfections found on early hand-blown glass pieces. There is a slight bit of calcium on the bottom which we haven't removed, and the stopper fits loosely as manufactured.
