The flag pin measures 1-1/8 x 1" and the Institute measures 1-1/4 x 1-1/8"; each is on brass and the lake scene is marked CZECHOSLOVALIA. Both have a c-clasp, and they are in very good original condition with no crazing, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a tiny loss and a surface crack on the lower left of the lake scene and a 1/4" long enamel loss to the other. A fine vintage Arts and Crafts necklace c1910, consisting of a finely carved bone 1-1/2" x 1-18" roses pendant and a contemporary 15" triple-strand white glass bead necklace with springring catch. The unsigned pendant is suspended from a carved 3/4" bone bale, and it was common in this era to combine the natural and manmade in pieces such as this; it is likely that this necklace and pendant were original to each other. This item is in very good original condition with no cracks, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the possible loss of one petal on the lower rose. A wonderful Art deco Industrial design black bakelite and aluminum bar pin c1930. This 3-7/8" pin consists of a black black bakelite round rod capped with machined turned round aluminum balls. A dazzling cherry red and sparkling white crystal and paste Art Deco coat or dress clip c1920. The beautiful quality brilliant cherry red unfoiled cut glass stones and the centre white round antique cut rhinestone are riveted (they spin) onto the delicate brass filigree back. The colour is deeper and more sparkling than they appear in our unfortunate pictures... There is a a two spike coat clip behind this, and it measures 1 13/16" across. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, wear, staining, repairs or damage. It is unmarked but has the distinctive look and feel of Czechoslovakian manufacture. An attractive mid-Victorian mourning brooch c1860-80. It is a pressed horn with a dark resinous/lacquer finish to resemble jet or bog oak (which was a semi-petrified and preserved wood from the marshy bogs of Ireland, less common even in the 19th century, so also imitated). This 1-5/8" x 1" pin features a high relief flower spray; it has the original brass c-clasp. This piece of mourning jewelry is in excellent original condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs except a small edge flake. This buckle consists of two 1-7/8" x 1-5/8" dark blue bakelite segments, both deeply carved with a star and wavy border. Navy blue bakelite is possibly one of the least commonly seen colours in single coloured period bakelite items. A superb Deco Osiris Egyptian sp dangle brooch circa 1920. This scarce and wonderful Art Deco vintage large silver plated brooch with dangles and faux lapis lazuli glass stones depicts the Egyptian god of the underworld Osiris.
