A 3/4" late Victorian gold filled windowed pendant and 18" fine link gold filled chain with springring catch c1900, containing authentic gold nuggets. The two windows on the locket show the gold from both sides; the nuggets weigh 0.8 grams. A Victorian 10k yellow gold ring featuring genuine blue iolites and natural seed pearls circa 1880s. The iolites are a deep royal blue gem stone in round antique cut. Burmese sapphires were expensive and often difficult to obtain in the late 19thC, so good quality iolites were sometimes used - these stones are original to the ring, not replacements. The flower circle design stayed popular into the Edwardian period, although Edwardian examples were usually simpler with less gem stones. The top of this size 4 antique ring measures 1/2" across, it weighs 2.3 grams, and it is stamped 10K with an arrow maker's mark. The iolites are reasonably well colour matched and in good condition, but one stone is deeper in color. The halogens threw off the colour of one in the pictures. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but please note that a couple of the seed pearls are slightly darker in colour. A stylish antique Victorian period large Neoclassical style hair / mourning brooch c1860-70. This 2" x 1-1/2" pin features the multilayered effect found in Victorian high-style jewellery, and it has great gold appliques and fine ropework. It features two braids of blonde and brown hair under the original glass, which retains its original bezel. One plait is small and chestnut brown and tied with a pink ribbon, the other larger one is blonde with grey. The mounting and presentation is quite fine, and this unmarked pin tests as 14K yellow gold; it weighs 13.3 grams.
