A vintage maroon velvet Bulova man's watch box with gilt mounts c1930s. This 4-7/8" x 3-1/4" box has a mount for a man's Bulova wristwatch, a velvet and shiny material liner, and a gold stamp saying BULOVA CANADA'S FINEST TIMEPIECES. It has a BULOVA name impressed into the front of the case (we're not sure if it has a metal nameplate or if it was impressed as it appears). The gilt brass feet retain their gilding, and this case is in very good original condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor fraying of the velvet at the mount, the tearing of the shiny material which links the top and bottom (still present), and some rubs to the nap on the upper edges of the outer case. A vintage pierced sterling silver napkin ring c1920s by Roden. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. It is stamped STERLING with the Roden company mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. This 1-3/4" across napkin ring is 5/8" wide, and it has (remarkably) never been monogrammed. It has the Roden maker's mark and Sterling, it weighs 5.4 grams, and it is in mostly excellent condition with no dents, breaks, losses, damage or repairs, but it is a little out of round, and could stand a better polishing. A vintage North American tribal beadwork knife sheath with colourful applied beadwork on a fringed moose hide c1930s-50s. This 13-1/2" x 7-1/2" (including fringe) knife sheath has a tall loop for hanging off of a belt; the stiff applied lighter colour hide section at the front of the sheath is attached with twisted fine brass wire. It is a densely beaded item, and spells out "Jack" in white beads, and it has iridescent purple/blue, orange, dark and light green beads. It is in excellent condition with no repairs or damage; there is a loose thread and some sewing holes near the top of the loop, possibly from a now-missing small bit of bead ornamentation. A vintage block printed fabric wall hanging by the Canadian Inuit artist Agnes Nanogak Goose (1925-2001). This highly regarded Holman artist was famous for her ink drawings and as a print maker, and she also produced block printed textiles, including cotton burlap. She was the first Inuit artist to receive and honorary degree from Mt. St. Vincent university. This wall hanging measures 24" x 14-3/4". The is not including the 52" tie cord - it is in the same colour fabric, perhaps the hanging had a wood rod originally, we don't know. It appears to be in excellent vintage condition with no stains, tears, losses, damage or repairs.
