A Bretby English pottery green planter or jardiniere. This lovely Arts and Crafts era English pottery bowl or planter made by Bretby. This 3-1/2" tall and 6-3/8" diameter bowl has a light green glaze at the top graduating to a deeper moss green on the bottom; it has the Bretby mark, MADE IN ENGLAND and the 1644D pattern mark stamped into the bottom. A vintage maroon velvet Bulova man's watch box with gilt mounts c1930s. This 4-7/8" x 3-1/4" box has a mount for a man's Bulova wristwatch, a velvet and shiny material liner, and a gold stamp saying BULOVA CANADA'S FINEST TIMEPIECES. It has a BULOVA name impressed into the front of the case (we're not sure if it has a metal nameplate or if it was impressed as it appears). The gilt brass feet retain their gilding, and this case is in very good original condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor fraying of the velvet at the mount, the tearing of the shiny material which links the top and bottom (still present), and some rubs to the nap on the upper edges of the outer case. A fine quality Chinese carved and coloured bone scrimshaw brooch in an ornate filigree gilt silver setting c1920s-30s. This 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" pin has a safety catch and it is marked MADE IN CHINA SILVER; the scene is of flying birds with flowers and branches. The black and orange of the flowers is mostly intact however the green of the leaves and branches has faded, and this item is in good original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the fading of the green colour and a tiny crack in one extreme corner. A fine quality elegant etched glass water pitcher c1910-20. This lovely quality blown glass 8-1/4" tall pitcher has an applied handle, and it features a fine etched Arts and Crafts style motif with subtle vertical ribbing. The pontil is smoothly polished. We have had stemware previously in this pattern, which we have been unable to identify (can you help?). This pitcher is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, staining, repairs or damage. The fine white spots and lines and flashes are artifacts of the photography, and are not present in real life - it is in clear and excellent condition. An English sterling silver mustard pot dated 1920. This vintage fully hallmarked English sterling silver 2-3/8" tall footed round mustard pot with a handle was made in Chester in 1920-21. This table serving item has a hinged lid and a slot for a mustard spoon, and it has the original cobalt blue glass liner. It has a WV&S maker's mark for William Vale & Sons (registered 1895) and it has a weighted base for stability (with some later felt on the bottom). A Garrard of London sterling silver gravy sauce boat dated 1972. It is fully hallmarked for London, England with a date mark for 1972. It measures just under 6" in length, and is 2-7/8" in width, with a greatest height of 3-1/4" (handle). This elegant boat has three hoof-shaped feet. It has the maker's mark G&Co Ld for Garrard and it is stamped GARRARD & Co Ltd 112 REGENT STREET LONDON W on the bottom. Garrard & Company is one of the most, if not the most prestigious goldmith and jeweller in the UK, and was until recently the Crown jeweller. It weighs 131 grams, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An individual sterling silver egg cup with Birmingham 1937 hallmarks. This vintage 2-9/16" tall sterling eggcup is a simple design, and has a J monogram engraved on the f side. It has a swirled brown celluloid base cover covering the weighted base. It has a A.S.P Co. mark for the Angora Silver Plate Co. Ltd who were in Birmingham and in London. It weighs 34.9 gr. and it is in very good condition with no breaks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but please note that the base has a very slight surface denting which makes it appear a little out of the round - please see picture. The 6-3/8" long fork comes with the matching 7-1/4" long fish knife. Unusually, both the blade and handle are also .813 silver, and this set has never been monogrammed. This bright and cheerful vintage East Coast Micmac 4-7/8" diameter wall hanging features a flower basket motif, with yellow, light and deep green, red, orange, brown and black beads sewn on what looks like mustard coloured felt, and sewn to/backed with a deerskin backing. The hanging strap is in brown shell-shaped beads (they look like small painted shells or seeds) with green and yellow beads.
