An original Rumrill Indian Group orange and bay glaze vase. This great looking, authentic and vintage signed RumRill 5-1/2" tall American art pottery bulbous vase c1935-39 has a crimped star-shaped rim and a tan interior, and it is in the Indian Group line with the orange and bay glaze. It has a 309 style number and the vintage RumRill signature, and the orange and brown glaze is superbly applied, giving this example a great look reminiscent of the (much later) German art pottery of the 1950s and 1960s. This vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
